Finishing is where a wall goes from hung to ready for paint. Good finishing is invisible: no ridges, no flashing through the paint, no corners that show every pass of the knife. MB finishes commercial drywall across the Charlotte region with the same crew that hung it.
We also handle patch and repair work for suite turnovers, so property managers can get a space back to paint-ready without bringing in a separate trade.

How we do it
Finished to the level in your spec.
The Gypsum Association defines finish levels from 0 to 5. Most commercial walls are finished to Level 4. Walls under strong side lighting, or that get glossy paint, often call for a Level 5 skim coat. We finish to the level shown in your specs and will point it out early if the spec and the lighting plan do not match.
Because our painters work on the same team, finish quality gets checked by the people who have to paint over it.

What level of drywall finish do you provide?
We finish to the level in your specs. Most commercial walls are Level 4. Level 5 is common under critical lighting or with glossy paint, and we can price either.
Do you do drywall patch and repair for suite turnovers?
Yes. We patch and repair damaged walls between tenants and leave them ready for paint, and we can paint them too.
Do you also paint?
Yes. MB self-performs commercial painting, so finishing and paint stay with one team.
